Korea Trip - Day 8 - Myeong Dong Chillax Shopping

Today, we sleep late and started out very late towards Myeong Dong market. We were all tired yesterday and decided to sleep in. I woke up at 11 to buy breakfast from 7-eleven. Well i got time to check out the direction of Myeong Dong market. So we have our breakie in the room at 12pm. Came out around 1+pm to a cafe called Coffine Gurunaru. Where we have light food. Sandwich, bread, and coffee.

Then we walk around the street to get what remaining things we wanted. Vivian wanted a Cap and I want one too. So we look around for it. I bought quite some street food. It was nice.

It's a saturday so the streets are filled with people. Really more than the previous day we come here. We walked around until 6pm then we look for dinner.

We had tapoki, ginseng chicken soup, Jab Che, and Kimchi Cheese Fried Rice. Very very good dinner!

Continue our walk and bought somemore stuff. Vivian wanted to look for shoes. Ironically, Payless is selling nice heels at a crazy price.

It's 11pm and we head back to the hostel. Bath and get ready for tomorow. I bought 82 pieces of faccial mask today! I'm swimming in a pool of facial mask.

Chloe and Aunty Eva will be leaving at 7am. And me, Vivian and Yvonne will go to EverLand Theme Park tomorow morning!!

The girls used their mask and now everyone is asleep while i write my blog. I should be asleep now.

P/s : I wrote this at 2.45am, so I hope you enjoy what I write.

Korea trip - Day 7 - Nam Dae Mun Shopping Spree

The first picture is Vivian and taken in our room. She look stunning so I have to post. She is so beautiful. You will find her getting more and more beautiful as you get to know her.

The second picture is Myeong Dong Hostel, a superb good hostel. If you are looking for place to stay in Seoul Korea, I highly recommend it. Rooms are spacious and the guy here is so helpful. Very good and clean place to stay. Affordable too.

We had our lunch when we come out of the hostel at 12pm. Head towards Nam Dae Mun SiJang (Namdaemun shopping district).
There are a lot of stufff to buy. Specially accessories. And if you are a business person, you can buy hand made accessories in bulk. And friggin cheap. But if you are a shopper you might be disappointed that they dont sell single items. We begged and ask most of the shop. Only some sell.
But we got what we wanted. And a lot of them. Haha

The mandu (pao) is also tasty here.

We shop until 6pm and look for JaJangMyeon, a chinese noodle in Korean restaurant. So we found this famous chinese restaurant in NamDaeMun. Its called HongBok. Superb Ja Jang Myeon.

Took bus back to our place and stopped by Lotte Young. It was uber cool in that place. They had a nice shop call Pin&Fit. Super cool tshirts. They even have these maskot mask to take picture with. We had lots of fun. I bought two tshirt at 20,000 Won (Rm60).

Then Lotte Young have this Roof Garden at the top floor. Awesome interior and with a great garden. Good place to chill. We hang out and took lots of picture. Chloe and Vivian enjoyed this place.

After this we head back around 10+pm. And we stop by a road side stall to have some supper.

Back to the room and pack, clear up,  bath, mask, count how much we spend and laugh about the day. We showed what we buy and is satisfied. Slept at 2am. I woke up at 11am and the others at 12pm.

This is a good group to travel with. So much energy, so much tolerance, so much excitement and so much love.

P/s : don,t mind the mess, typing this at 2.30am

Korea Trip - Day 6 - Dang Dae Mun Shopping Spree

Today we officially finish our mission trip of going to visit churches and singing songs. It was all very fun. So sad to see daddy mommy leave for home. Pastor Choi is leaving to Busan with the Ong Family and Eun Ji is leaving for home to study. Pastor Sean is leaving to go back into the army.

We bid our farewell and then was send to Myeong Dong. So me, Yvonne, Vivian, Chloe and Aunty Eva (the Myeong Dong Team) is staying in Myeong Dong for our remaining days in Korea. We checked in and then we get ready to go out.

Took a picture at the station and head to Dong Dae Mun. Had our epic lunch there (pork ribs soup). It was friggin heavenly.

Found out the famous spot for shopping is a night market that starts at 9pm to 10am. We then head towards the shoe market and I bought 3 shoes! First time in my life, I get to buy that many shoe in a day.

We had lots of time till 9pm so we shopped around. Bought lots of stuff. My sister Yvonne bought up rm900 worth of clothings. But it was worth it though because she had 7 pieces of them from a designers store.

Dinner was delicious, I ate beef rice. It was too filling. We went around more after eating. The night view of this shopping district is beautiful. The building light up.

We bought so much, I have to carry aunty Eva's load. I got this severe shoulder pain. Can,t move my shoulder well. Hahaha. We had something like a walkathon cos we walked from 11am to 11pm. Reached back to the hotel at 11pm+ and packed all the clothings. Show each other what we bought, feel satisfied, laugh about today and calculated how much we spend. Then everyone fainted at 1am+. Used masked and rest. I slept with my mask and woke up at 4am. Slept back until 10am. The girls slept till 11am.

It was a great experience for me.
