After Church Party (Beware of Rules Breaking)

As per usual, we go to lunch together after church. And after so so so so long, we could at last go and do this again!
Im Dead happy about this. Give me back my Norm! And since its the New Norm now, doing the Norm but with a little bit new stuff. So we kind of tried our best in keeping the social distance and sanitize where ever we go.

Too much of smelling alcohol sanitizers, some people's brain got melted.
Ah yes, i forgot to introduce, this shop is one of my favorite China noodle shop.
My favorite Biang Biang Noodle
Cucumber salad - China Style
We went to a second round in eggies in Damai. Hahahaha. It is our responsibility to stimulate the economy. 🤣🤣🤣

I am just Glad i could spend time with my friends. Im sure there are more friends i would love to hang with. Lets hope for more hang out and more distancing. Hahahaha.

12/7/20 sunday service - Count of things loss

Today service the main verse we read is Phillipians 3 : 8 - 11
Then Pastor Kenneth asked this mind-boggling Question.

This is a good question because it kick start something in me. I became introspective. And its going deep.  So my answer is this.

When i chose God, and came back to Sabah on 2012, Leaving Kl for good and coming back to Sabah. It wasn't comfortable and it certainly is a leaving my "comfort zone" kind of thing.
I left a great place, a great church, great mentor, great ministry and opportunity in church (in ministry and also girls *wink wink* you know what i mean) and great friends in church. Other than church, i lose out on job opportunity, career advancement, business opportunity, and relationship opportunity (imagine how many chance i would have in a big city with so many people i could meet).

I consider all this as a Loss.

Just by following God. and to know i am walking in His plans, is a blessing and comfort for me.  Even though sometimes it felt like walking on water. But through these years in Sabah. What i felt, i have lost, God have proven faithful and have been blessing me back.

Seeing God move in me, through me and with me. And through all this, helps me see and know God even more than ever!
His power, His character, His faithfulness, His thoughts, His perspective, His ways, His Love and many more. Being able to suffer together as i am given a chance to serve him in Kota Kinabalu, Sabah.

Even when i am back in KK, everyone was looking and wondering what i can do. I actually came back defeated. (I failed in business, i have debts, i have no house, no car, no career) Yet, i found Him, and know him, and to be able to walk in faith and rely on him. This reliance, helps me to walk in righteousness in God. Even though there are ups and downs, and i have done many mistakes, but walking in this way, helps me enjoy His righteousness. And i found that it is imposibble for me to be righteous and sin-less. However i can put on the righteousness of God and i can follow Him. I can have victory over sin. I Can persue God and Christlikeness. It is a lifelong journey to work on my Salvation.

This start me thinking what if:
1. If i had stayed in KL and disobey God's calling for me to go back to Sabah, I might end up serving ministry than God.
2. I might be too comfortable to self improve
(I learned patience and change of views., i now believe in efficacy rather than being efficient, there are so much more)
3. I Found the love of my life
4. I get to live a life of what God wants me to be.
5. I get to have Opportunity and experience to create and bring forth changes in Likas Baptist Church
6. I had 3 years of roofing industry expereience and another 4 years of getting to know the entire sabah market, meeting and building rapport with directors in sabah. A Job experience that i wouldnt have in KL.
7. A Business experience of doing roofing business and now a chance to enter into detergent supply and car care business.
8. At the highest of my salary in Sabah, i once earned five figure salary.
9. I have met and made Great friends
10. More importantly, i get to build and spend time with my Parents and siblings. I get to spend time with my niece and nephew. (especially during MCO, i can see how precious this is)

After introspecting, I think I can say this now, "I Have no Regrets and i Have not loss anything, instead i have gain so much more".

So this is my response to God:
I am remembered of the Joy of following God as i write this.
And i want to conclude that Following God is amazing.

So I will write my answer to this question in a form of My prayer to God.

Dear Lord, be it deep waters or high mountains, good or bad or tough times, even if to suffer with you. God, as long as you are with me, i am contented and blessed. I want to renew my pledge with You Lord, That please lead me, send me and i will go. I want to walk in you and with you. Help me to walk in faith and to step out into the unknown, as long as i know you are with me, i will go.
In Jesus' Name I pray,
Amen!

Oden KK - Mala soup Oden 麻辣乌冬面

Today i got stuck in lintas due to the sudden down pour. So i went to have some snacks. Came across this shop. Its a stall in a shop in lintas square. The name of the shop is in chinese 关东煮•乌冬面 which in english it is Oden Kk.

This is their fb link : HERE

So to be honest, the spiciness is good and the oden is ok. I expect the oden to be inside the soup for quite sometime, but the way they make it is basically putting all the oden into your bowl and then add the soup.
So the pros are:
1. Lots of variety of stuff for you to choose
2. 3 type of soup (chicken, sour spicy soup, and mala soup)

What i find not to my expectations is:
1. Oden not cooked in the soup
2. Mala soup base is not pork broth or heavy chicken broth (a little light on the soup taste)

However , i am still interested to try the sour spicy soup 酸辣汤.

So do give this shop a chance. Its worth a try.

July 2020 Highlights - The First Outing After MCO

Ever since that day, everything have changed. That one fine day where it begins, it was like any other normal day. And we receieved the news that humankind are attacked by Corona Virus. This changed everyones life.

And for me, my life changed. I use to enjoy my holidays going to outings and event with my friends. Gone are the nights Where i go out to visit my friends, go to the movies, the malls, the supper, the hang outs we have numerously in one night. 😂

When MCO started, the only place i go is just home. Everything i do, i do at home, compared to before MCO, where the only thing i do at home is sleeping. It is such a big change and it was bad. I know to some of you, sitting home doing everything and nothing is paradise to you. (This is where the introverts finally shine, and i was truely jealous of them). But i was in HELL! It's worst than being in jail (not that i know how it feels like in jail). 😂🤣😂🤣

So finally, I decided to go for our first ever outing! Me and a few friends (Amanda, Vivian, Magdalene, Raymond, Samuel and Larry) decided to go to a river and have ourselves a Merry Merry Merry time.

So here we are at inobong Penampang. The journey takes 30 minute From kolombong. The road wasn't bad and quite easy to get in. If you drive a 4WD, worry Not, you will arrive no problem. If you drive a car like Proton Saga, you will be fine. Its just a little kampung-ish road.

The entrance fee is rm3 per person. The rental for hut is rm20 without bbq stand. And Hut with bbQ stand is rm25.
Of course theres some vvip hut which cost more, but why would i want that.

And this is what happened there:

Thats my cute Girlfriend with me and our friends

This is the Hut, the VVIP hut

The sign says Sinilou Kibambangan Water Park

Heck, a Big turtle/tortoise. I don't know, but i bet it would be tasty.

The later half of the river

The earlier part of the River with slides and a swinging rope.
The river is not very deep so its quite safe. Other than the rocky bottom it is quite ok.

They have a 0.7 meter pool and a 0.8meter pool. I didnt really get in here to play.

There are 2 sheltered area. For party n stuff.

Over all, its quite good. A good hangout and outing spot. Bring your own speaker and mic, play your own songs, bring your own drinks and food. Nice place for gathering and to get wet. 😉
