Osaka Trip - Day 2

Yo Gigglers,
After a long night, i basically didnt sleep in preparation to fly at 830am to 230pm (330pm Japan time), it a 6 hour flight, so i thought i could sleep in the plane. I basically only got to sleep around 2 to 3 hr. Too excited. Damn, so damn tiring.

Our plane.
Superb excited for this!!!

So we arrived at Osaka (KIX) airport,my lugage cracked and lost a wheel. Hahahaha, we had to get a report for insurance claim, it was not hard. Japanese are very systematic, the report is generated very quickly, albeit the language barrier, the service and politeness of japanese still amaze me. But i need to give a great shout out to my pretty friend Vivian Chin, a greta insurance agent. she helped me handle everything, from looking for who to lead us into doing the report for insurance claim to taking pictures and keeping of my documents. Worth buying travel insurance from her.
*Love you so much Vivi.

There is a lack of photo due to the rush.
So we got out of the airport, get our train pass and hop onto the train. Not forgetting to grab our sandwich and daifuku from 7eleven store.
Really Thankful that Raymond could help arrange the train transportation so well. Queue-ing, timing, which platform, which train, which line, which pass. Without raymond, i am sure it is damn tough and a lot of roaming thru errors to get to where we want to.

Ok after arriving Kyoto, we walk to our Hotel.
And this is how it looks

We basically Quickly unload and gear up, went out to look for dinner.
We had earlier decided to go to Ichiran Ramen.
So here we are!

To be honest, i just follow the flow, i didnt really fancy going to a super popular ramen shop, thinking it might be overrated trourist trap kind of place.
The experience is quite cool. Kind and polite, easy to understand way of order.
Ordering thru a ticket counter, very easy for me to understand, because there is english version. Basically pick what you want and pay here.

I dont even know what is this, just took a picture of the counter.
We were welcome and ushered into this room with small eating cubicle for each person.
The first thought i had was "What impressive attention to details Japanese have!"
They have hanger for your bag and coat, tissue right on the wall with toothpicks beside it. They know many people won't be able to speak the language so they had a few tags ready for you to use to show the waiter (with english). It was fairly easy to eat thru this place comfortably.

A picture of The prettiest woman in my life. My wifeeey!
I thank God she have  a very handsome and charismatic husband. Hahahaha
The ever supporting and caring Samuel and Magdalene.
Raymond and Vivian

Now to the main star of the day!
Ichiran Ramen No.1 Choice, 5 in 1 Set (Ramen, Egg, Extra chasu pork, Seaweed and Black Fungus) all these cost 1650¥ (around rm55)..... Well after converting it back to ringgit it feels very expensive. Lets just consider it Dolar to dolar so its lile rm16.50 lah. Ahahahaha
Now this is what i feel about this meal.
The experience is Great!
The taste is Really Good. The soup is delicious and thick but not overly fat until your lips stick to each other. Chasu is amazing.
So i didnt regret following the flow. Thanks to my friends recommendation, we end up eating more than a warm hot meal. We had great taste and great experience to go with.

After everything we walk thru the cold. Went to Donquijote, bought some drinks and snacks, also bought these powdered bath salt. And went through pontocho at 11pm. (We shouldnt have)
Most shops are closed, except the Izakayas and some shops that have girl posters outside and have girl in short skirt welcoming you.
*Raymond wonder what it is inside but we didnt dare to go in*😂

After pontocho, my wife is tired, so we hurriedly go back to the hotel.
1 corner before our hotel my wife saw curry noodles and pork bowl shop and she said something that even shocked me
"Wanna eat before we go back?"
I quickly said yes. Ahahahaha. This is my kind of travel trip.
The gang wanted to go back and bath then come out to eat. That was tiring but also acceptable. We should have just eaten and got back to shower. Hahaha. But nonetheless it was fun..the food was Great! But i didnt take any pictures.

One last thing to add, bath salt are very interesting, filled your bath tub and then pour in, you have yourself a luxury bath. Bath salt are around 100¥ each.(Thats like Rm1 to the japanese but to us rm3.40)

Ok thats about it.

See you tomorrow
Hasta Luego~

Osaka Trip Day1

How ya doing guys,
Half a year ago, we (Me and Wifie, Raymond and Vivian, Samuel and Magdalene) have plan to roam the planet.
Our target destination is Osaka and Kyoto.

Today kinda mark the first day of the trip.
We bought Scoot airlines which is a connecting flight to Osaka through Singapore. and hell yeah, the wait time is brutal.

We had to sleep in the airport from 12am to 6am. Cos our flight is at 830am.

At first we roam around looking for spots to rest but most of the place that is comfy are taken already. Its filled till the floor.

And as we continue searching we found this place, no one is really here, maybe due to the bright lights here. So we set camp and this is how it looks.
Wifie dead tired. Hahaha. Kesian

bam. 3 musketeers
Sam found himself a spot

Ok. Gotta sleep now. Good night. See you tomorrow

Hasta Luego~
